Life's a Movie.
The Black Phone
Absolutely loved this movie! Really fun and effective horror movie. Ethan Hawke was so electric
Tumbbad
A gorgeous looking, intriguing morality tale.. An ancient myth. A hideous demon. Hidden treasure. Human greed. This potent mix is stirred and ground in Tumbbad, and the result is a highly unusual, visually stunning, richly atmospheric concoction of genres and themes
Blackmail
Pitch black humour hardly seen in a Hindi film. It has sort of a neon lit cramminess to it. Irrfan Khand and Arunoday Singh were terrific
Maharathi
Inspired by James Hadley Chase's 1956 novel, There's Always a Price Tag this is a gem of a little movie which was thoroughly enjoyable
Get Out
This was on of the best movie of that year and Jordan Peele is the next Stanley Kubrick
Shutter Island
An excellent psychological thriller! Some real bone-chilling stuff going on here. Another well made film from Mr. Scorsese!
